The journey will be accompanied by peers from different parts of the world who will provide historical, cultural and religious background of wearing or not wearing the headscarf. The teacher provides the students with tools for reflection, sharing opinions and discussing the topics. S\/he provides two types of cards to be used as a summary of similarities and differences of wearing the headscarf in different regions. Finally, the teacher classifies the arguments as those related to religion, history and culture, then the class discusses the universality of wearing the veil.<br>\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<h4>\n\tA note for the teacher:<br>\n<\/h4>\n<p>\n\tBe aware of the level of integration of the students in the classroom, their experiences and diversity. The integration of students is important because during the course they will be encouraged to share their opinions and experiences. Successful integration in the classroom builds respect, empathy, acceptance, builds group norms, safety and trust. Consider ways to handle students\u2019 different reactions, prejudices and possible conflicts in the class.<br>\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<h4>\n\tTeaching methods:<br>\n<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\tBrainstorming\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tIndividual work\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tCase studies\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tGroup discussion\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tMaking posters\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tStorytelling (TED talks)<br>\u00a0\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>\n\tEthical approach:<br>\n<\/h4>\n<p>\n\tIn class follow this set of rules for ethical communication:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\ttalk to others, not about others;\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tshow respect by listening to each other;\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\teveryone is entitled to his or her own opinion.One can disagree with the opinions of others, but still should respect it; do not judge yourself or others;\u00a0\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tdo not criticise the words and behaviour of other participants.<br>\u00a0\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>\n\tThink about questions for the students<br>\n<\/h4>\n<p>\n\tA week before you will start this e-module, ask the students questions similar to those below.
