Uurimuslik \u00f5pe eeldab \u00f5pitava teema s\u00fcgavamal tasandil l\u00e4bi t\u00f6\u00f6tlemist, mis omakorda viib selleni, et \u00f5ppijatele j\u00e4\u00e4b sellest rohkem meelde. \u00d5pikuteksti lugedes v\u00f5ime piirduda selle sisu v\u00e4ga pealiskaudse l\u00e4bit\u00f6\u00f6tlemisega. Meil k\u00f5igil on t\u00f5en\u00e4oliselt hetki, mil lugedes m\u00f5te hajub ning teksti l\u00f5ppu j\u00f5udes avastame, et tegelikult ei teagi me \u00f5ieti, millest juttu oli.<br><strong>\u00d5ppijad \u00f5pivad rohkemat kui ainealaseid teadmisi.<\/strong> Uurimuslik \u00f5pe h\u00f5lmab uurimisk\u00fcsimuse s\u00f5nastamist, h\u00fcpoteeside p\u00fcstitamist, uurimuse kavandamist ja l\u00e4biviimist ning tulemuste p\u00f5hjal j\u00e4relduste tegemist. Ainealaste teadmiste k\u00f5rval muutub seega oluliseks \u00f5ppimise protsess ise. Omandatakse olulisi \u00f5pioskusi ja teistega koos t\u00f6\u00f6tamise oskusi.<br><strong>\u00d5ppijad naudivad \u00f5ppimist rohkem.<\/strong> Uurimusliku \u00f5ppe kaudu on \u00f5ppijad \u00f5ppimisse aktiivsemalt kaasatud ning neil on selles rohkem otsustus\u00f5igust \u2013 neil on endal v\u00f5imalus m\u00e4\u00e4rata \u00f5ppimise eesm\u00e4rk ja viis selleni j\u00f5udmiseks. Samuti kuulub uurimusliku \u00f5ppe juurde iseenda hindamine.
