Requirements for doctoral candidate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><a id=\"103\" name=\"103\"><\/a><br>\n103. <\/strong>A doctoral candidate must hold a master\u2019s degree or equivalent qualification and must have fully completed the doctoral programme except for the defence of the doctoral thesis.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/p><div class=\"accordion mb-3\">\n        <div class=\"accordion-item accordion-item--white\">\n        <h2 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"accordion-69e161634624f-heading\">\n            <button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#accordion-69e161634624f-collapse\" aria-expanded=\"true\" aria-controls=\"accordion-69e161634624f-collapse\">Additional information<\/button>\n        <\/h2>\n        <div id=\"accordion-69e161634624f-collapse\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"accordion-69e161634624f-heading\">\n            <div class=\"accordion-body\">The following prerequisites must be fulfilled for applying for a doctorate (doctoral curricula opened before the 2022\/2023 academic year):\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The doctoral curriculum has been completed, i.e. all the compulsory modules of the doctoral curriculum and all the courses have been completed and the prescribed volumes have been reached, except for that of the doctoral thesis. The completion is checked on the basis of the data in the SIS. The defence of the thesis is part of the studies and successful defence will result in the number of points missing from the volume of the thesis. For those who complete the doctoral curriculum as external students, all the credit points of the thesis will be entered on the basis of the defence.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">There is a duly made and printable manuscript of the doctoral thesis.\u00a0In the case of a\u00a0thesis as an integrated collection of research publications at\u00a0least two of the three research articles must have been accepted for publishing by a journal and the third may have been peer-reviewed by the editorial board of a leading international research journal or collection or by two internationally recognised independent researchers selected by the council.\u00a0The author of a monograph must have published or received an acceptance for publication for at least one research publication on the topic of the doctoral thesis.<\/li><\/ol><\/div>\n        <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>103.
