Besides government-funded scholarships and allowances, there are a number of other scholarships one can apply for.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"accordion-block mb-3\">\n\t\t<div class=\"accordion \" id=\"accordion-accordion-6adba84fed4d3\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-item accordion-item--white\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"accordion-6adba84fed4d3-heading-1\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#accordion-6adba84fed4d3-collapse-1\" aria-expanded=\"true\" aria-controls=\"accordion-6adba84fed4d3-collapse-1\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t26 October \u2013 1 November\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"accordion-6adba84fed4d3-collapse-1\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse \" aria-labelledby=\"accordion-6adba84fed4d3-heading-1\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-body pt-0\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Government-funded scholarships and allowances<\/h2>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/ut.ee\/en\/content\/need-based-study-allowance\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">need-based study allowance<\/a> can be applied for in the <a href=\"https:\/\/haridusportaal.edu.ee\/t%C3%B6%C3%B6laud\/taotlused\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Estonian education portal<\/a> during the entire semester, and will be paid starting from the month of application (not retroactively). The amount of the allowance is 150\u2013440 euros per month.<\/p>\n<p>An additional application round is open for the <a href=\"https:\/\/ut.ee\/en\/content\/need-based-special-allowance\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">need-based special allowance<\/a> in October. Applications can be submitted until 31 October; the allowance will be paid starting from the month of application (not retroactively). The amount of the allowance is 135 euros per month.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.harno.ee\/en\/scholarship-students-special-needs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The scholarship for students with special needs<\/a> can be applied for throughout the academic year (except in July and August). The scholarship will be paid starting from the month of application (not retroactively). Applicants have to prove that their Estonian language knowledge is at least on a B1 level and fill in the application Form in Estonian. Estonian language proficiency is needed in the team.<br>\nProspective applicants are also welcome to attend a pre-consultation session to discuss the suitability of their project idea and receive guidance on preparing their application. The amount of the stipend is from 240 to 300 euros per month.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.harno.ee\/en\/scholarship-students-special-needs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Scholarship for students with special needs<\/a> can be applied throughout the academic year (except in July and August). The amount of the scholarship depends on the degree of severity and the type of disability (60\u2013510 euros).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ut.ee\/en\/content\/need-based-study-allowance\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Need-based study allowance<\/a> can be applied for in the Estonian education portal <a href=\"https:\/\/haridusportaal.edu.ee\/t%C3%B6%C3%B6laud\/taotlused\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">haridusportaal.edu.ee<\/a> during the entire semester, the amount of the allowance is from 150 to 440 euros per month.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ut.ee\/en\/content\/need-based-special-allowance\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Need-based special allowance<\/a> can be applied for from 11 September, the amount of the need-based special allowance is 135 euros per month. Need-based study allowance and need-based special allowance <strong>cannot be applied for<\/strong> by students who study in Estonia on the basis of TRP for studies (<strong>students from outside the EU<\/strong>).
