{"id":79,"date":"2022-03-09T13:28:23","date_gmt":"2024-04-04T03:26:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/neareu1\/new-mooc-released-neareu-team-high-demand\/"},"modified":"2024-04-04T06:38:54","modified_gmt":"2024-04-04T03:38:54","slug":"new-mooc-released-neareu-team-high-demand","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/neareu1\/new-mooc-released-neareu-team-high-demand\/","title":{"rendered":"New MOOC released by NearEU team in high demand"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p style=\"margin:0cm\">\n\t\t<span><span style=\"sans-serif\"><span style=\",sans-serif\">On February 28, the new MOOC developed within the framework of the Jean Monnet Module \u201cNearEU\u201d \u2013 \u201c<\/span><\/span><\/span><a data-url=\"https:\/\/neareu.ut.ee\/blog\/enrol-new-mooc-impact-changing-eu-russia-relations-development-eastern-partnership\" href=\"https:\/\/neareu.ut.ee\/blog\/enrol-new-mooc-impact-changing-eu-russia-relations-development-eastern-partnership\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Impact of Changing EU-Russia Relations on the Development of Eastern Partnership<\/a><span><span style=\"sans-serif\"><span style=\",sans-serif\">\u201d has started. More than 1150 participants from every corner of the world have registered to attend the five-week course, along with a number of learners from University of Tartu, making this <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\",sans-serif\">MOOC <\/span><span style=\",sans-serif\">the most popular e-course ever created at the Faculty of Social Sciences. Such a wide interest proves that there is a global demand for better and informed understanding of Eastern Partnership framework as well as the complexities of EU and Russia\u2019s engagement in the \u201cshared neighborhood\u201d. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin:0cm\">\n\t\t\u00a0\n\t<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin:0cm\">\n\t\t<span><span style=\"sans-serif\"><span style=\",sans-serif\">The course has been developed by the main coordinators of the NearEU team \u2013 Manager of Online Learning Projects \u2013 Anna Beitane and Associate Professor of European Studies \u2013 Dr. Stefano Braghiroli. The course also includes contributions from <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\",sans-serif\">academic staff of the Johan Skytte Institute of Political Studies and partnering experts of NearEU Module, based in Poland, Finland and Armenia. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin:0cm\">\n\t\t\u00a0\n\t<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin:0cm\">\n\t\t<span><span style=\"sans-serif\"><span style=\",sans-serif\">The main aim of the course is to introduce participants to the logic and structure of the Eastern Partnership as well as its evolution in the light of geopolitical developments in the region and changing dynamics of EU-Russia relations. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin:0cm\">\n\t\t\u00a0\n\t<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-right:0cm;margin-bottom:14.4pt;margin-left:0cm\">\n\t\t<span style=\"vertical-align:baseline\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><span style=\",sans-serif\">According to Anna Beitane \u201cthis is the second MOOC, which we have created as part of the NearEU Module\u2019s activities. We are very thrilled to see such a high turnout from every corner of the world.
