\n\tOn May 21st, the NearEU Jean Monnet Module continued with its 3rd Master Class, entitled \u201cBelarus and its Future: between Russia and the EU\u201d, which was delivered by Christopher Forst, who is the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung\u2019s representative for Belarus and Head of the Regional Office \u201cDialogue Eastern Europe\u201d based in Kyiv. He holds a Master\u2019s degree in EU-Russia Studies from the University of Tartu in Estonia. Before his assignment in Kiev, he worked for four years in the foundation\u2019s Africa Department.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Master Class looked at the Belarus\u2019 ongoing internal political crisis and its broader geo-political and societal implications for the region. The open lecture also discussed the broader relevance of the following political developments in Belarus for the EU and Russia; as well as the country\u2019s relations with the respective actors.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Master Class attracted a very high level of interest, bringing together participants from both partner institutions of the module and all around the world.\n<\/p>\n
