Course (<\/span><\/span>SVJS.00.023)\u00a0<span><span style=\"sans-serif\">\u201cIlliberal Turn in Europe and Russia\u201d will explore this question in different regional contexts of the EU, including Western, Central, Eastern, Southern and Nordic Europe, candidate countries, the EU neighborhood, and Russia. <\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin:0cm0cm0.0001pt\">\n\t<span><span style=\"sans-serif\">In order to provide students with a specific and detailed understanding of the enlargement process and challenges related to the Wider Europe approach, the course (<\/span><\/span>SVJS.00.024)\u00a0<span><span style=\"sans-serif\">\u201cEU Enlargement and Challenges of Wider Europe\u201d will help you develop a conceptual, analytical and theoretical framework to critically engage with the external dimension of the Europeanization process and regionalism in Europe and Eurasia. The course will start with a discussion of the historical and legal development of the enlargement process before moving to the related theoretical issues (including size, diversity, pace of change, reach, and external reactions) and different (and often competing) perspectives of regional integration in Europe and Eurasia. <\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin:0cm0cm0.0001pt\">\n\t<span><span style=\"sans-serif\">The courses are open to all students of the Johan Skytte institute and advanced bachelor students and will earn you <strong>6 ECTS<\/strong>.
