The MOOC is worth 2 ECTS and runs\u00a0from 25.04.2022 to 05.06.2022. \u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:16px\"><strong><a data-url=\" https:\/\/www.is.ut.ee\/pls\/ois\/tere.tulemast?viit=4790606\" href=\"https:\/\/www.is.ut.ee\/pls\/ois\/tere.tulemast?viit=4790606\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Register \u202fhere\u202f<\/a> (before April 21, 2022)\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<strong><a data-url=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/QaTed3ui8SQ\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/QaTed3ui8SQ\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">COURSE TRAILER\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<strong><a data-url=\"https:\/\/owncloud.ut.ee\/owncloud\/index.php\/s\/Me4jpLCH4Hpw9Rq\" href=\"https:\/\/owncloud.ut.ee\/owncloud\/index.php\/s\/Me4jpLCH4Hpw9Rq\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">COURSE SYLLABUS\u00a0<\/a><\/strong>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<strong>What will you learn during the course?\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tDuring the course you are going to learn about: \u00a0\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li role=\"presentation\">\n\t\tThe multifaceted nature of regionalism in different geo-territorial and geo-political contexts in Europe and Eurasia;\n\t<\/li>\n<li role=\"presentation\">\n\t\tConceptual and theoretical definition of regionalism by looking at the relevant cleavages in contemporary societies;\n\t<\/li>\n<li role=\"presentation\">\n\t\tPost-WWII regionalism in Europe\n\t<\/li>\n<li role=\"presentation\">\n\t\tEurasian integration as a spin-off of the EU;\n\t<\/li>\n<li role=\"presentation\">\n\t\tDeviation from the supranational model and longitudinal comparisons with the EU;\n\t<\/li>\n<li role=\"presentation\">\n\t\tCase studies and policy issues (particularly focusing on the case of Albania; Montenegro, Belarus, Ukraine and Georgia);\n\t<\/li>\n<li role=\"presentation\">\n\t\tComparative regionalism: between integration and hegemon;\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n\t<strong>Why should you take this course?\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tBy enrolling in the course, you will have access to video lectures from academicians and practitioners, specializing in regional studies. There will also be academic commentary and round-table discussions from academic representatives from the region (such as Ukraine, Georgia, Belarus, Albania, Montenegro) aimed at providing specific perspectives on different case studies in understanding the context of competing projects of regional integration (i.e., the EU and Eurasian Economic Union).\u00a0 The participants will also be able to benefit from a wide variety of readings, course supporting and interactive materials as well as a vibrant and international online community of peers with whom they can learn together and interact throughout the course. Upon successful completion of the MOOC, the participants will also receive a free digital certificate from the University of Tartu.\u202f\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<strong>Do you need any prior knowledge?\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tBasic knowledge of the process of European integration and EU terminology is suggested. In addition, participants should have at least basic web communication skills and basic familiarity of using digital tools for information searching and learning. Participants should be able to work independently; and be able to work and contribute to a discussion in a multicultural online environment.\u202f\u202f\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<strong>Course schedule and deadlines:\u202f\u202f\u00a0<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe course takes place fully online, on the learning management system of the University of Tartu \u2013\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/moodle.ut.ee\/?lang=en\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Moodle<\/a>. Please note that all video lectures of the course are pre-recorded.
