\n\tThere are several options for arranging accommodation and these differ from one university\/vocational school to another as some universities provide student dormitories\/hostels and some do not. Housing costs depend on the location, quality of the accommodation and on the season but the prices per month usually range from \u20ac80\u2013150 in the dormitories to \u20ac200\u2013510 in private flats.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIn University of Tartu short term international students (studying or internship for max 10 months) are accommodated in Raatuse 22, in Student Hostel. Monthly rent for two places in twin room alone is 300 euros. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe rent includes parking in the hostel\u00b4s closed parking lot, linen exchange (if requested) and cleaning service once a week. There are no additional costs to the rent (eg for electricity, heating etc) apart from payments for damages caused by the tenants:<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t-There are 3-room apartments in the building and most rooms are twin rooms.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t-The apartments have a shared kitchen, shower room and toilet. 2 apartments (6 rooms) on the ground floor of the residence hall have been furnished according to the needs of students with reduced mobility.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t-The building has a laundry room and a spacious bicycle park.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t-Tenants can play table tennis in the well-lighted lobby of the residence hall.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tTartu Vocational Education Center Hotel <\/span><\/span><\/span>https:\/\/hotell.khk.ee\/eng<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a>, located in Kopli 1c, Tartu, offers affordable prices and pleasant service to every guest. The hotel was renovated in 2010 and is located under the same roof as the Tartu Vocational Education Center student dormitory.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe hotel has 19 standard class rooms and 2 suites for a total of 42 people. The hotel has a large guarded car park.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile visiting the hotel\u2019s beauty center, you can enjoy a variety of beauty services, such as massage, hairdressing, energy capsule, solarium and much more (see also services).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

Private rooms or flats can be found through newspaper advertisements, websites or real estate agencies operating in the city. However, the best flats are most often found via local acquaintances and friends. The International Relations Office\/Admission Office can assist you in finding accommodation or recommending another school employee or student who could help arrange housing. You should be careful and look for an apartment with the help of Estonian tutors, students, friends or professors \u2013 like any place else, rents might be typically inflated for foreigners in Estonia.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIt is common for international students to share bigger flats in the city centre. Rental prices in the centre may be a bit more expensive but one can cut costs and time on transportation. Splitting the rent among friends may offer an opportunity to find great accommodation at an affordable price.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tPrices can vary widely depending on the number of rooms and facilities offered. On closing a rental deal, be prepared to pay a deposit. Generally the deposit is the equivalent of three months\u2019 rent; one month\u2019s rent will be returned to you upon your departure, provided that the accommodation is left in acceptable condition.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
