\n\t\u2018A transferable skill is a skills you developed in the past that you can use in the future or in the new situation.\u2019 <\/span><\/i>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThere are lots of different types of transferrable skills. Fill gaps below, to show what type they are:\n<\/p>\n

\n\tWhy are transferrable skills and attributes important?<\/span><\/b>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe skills you have used in the past can be used in the future, and the attributes that you possess will help you succeed in your chosen career, despite which country you are training, studying or working.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tProviding example of these skills and attributes in your job application and during interviews shows that you are adaptable and employers often looking for this in potential employees.\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t\u201cWhen I was at school, I organised a charity fundraising day. We had a cake stall and a group of students doing a sponsored silence over the lunch break. I liaised with teachers and the charity we were raising money for, arranged for letters to be sent home to parents and co-ordinated a team of volunteers. On the day, I made sure that all the volunteers were ok. When one of the volunteers manning the cake stall was feeling ill, I took over from her. I really enjoyed leading and co-ordinating this event.\u201d <\/span><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
