The conference also includes a PhD School with lectures, poster sessions, and hands-on workshops on mobile big data applications for understanding human mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>The special themes of Mobile Tartu 2024 will be:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>mobility justice and socio-spatial inequalities,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>mobile big data analytics to inform climate change adaptation and crises preparedness,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>methodological advances, including AI-aided solutions in human mobility research.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Beyond the special themes, we invite a broad range of\u00a0contributions on human mobility and mobile big data analytics<\/strong> based on\u00a0mobile phone, social media, GPS, or mobile applications data, discussing the following (but not limited to):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Measuring and understanding human mobility with mobile big data<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Socio-spatial and environmental inequalities and human wellbeing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Social networks, digital technology, and spatial mobility<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Associations between disasters\/interruptions and spatial (im)mobility<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Multi-local living and cross-border mobilities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Domestic and international tourism<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Urban sustainability and liveability, sustainability transitions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Spatial and transport planning, urban governance, and\u00a0smart cities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Official statistics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Data privacy, surveillance, and ethics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open data, methods, and research practices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tools and applications based on mobile big\u00a0data<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recordings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Rein Ahas lecture\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013<strong>\u00a0Prof. Jukka M.
