Tartu can be reached by direct flight from Helsinki only. Information on airlines and schedules is available on the websites of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tallinn-airport.ee\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport<\/a> and <a data-url=\"https:\/\/tartu.tallinn-airport.ee\/en\/\" href=\"https:\/\/tartu.tallinn-airport.ee\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Tartu Airport<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tYou can also reach Estonia by ferry. There is regular connection available from Stockholm and Helsinki to Tallinn. The main ferry operators are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tallinksilja.com\/en\/web\/int\/book-a-cruise\">Tallink\/Silja Line<\/a>, <a data-url=\"https:\/\/www.sales.vikingline.com\/\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sales.vikingline.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Viking Line<\/a> and <a data-url=\"https:\/\/www.eckeroline.com\/\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eckeroline.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Ecker\u00f6 Line<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<h3>\n\t<strong>Arriving from Tallinn to Tartu<\/strong><br>\n<\/h3>\n<p>\n\tFrom Tallinn Airport we recommend to take a frequent Lux Express (buy ticket in advance <a href=\"https:\/\/luxexpress.eu\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/luxexpress.eu\/en<\/a>) bus to Tartu. Travel time is 2,25 hours. Buses depart from 7\u00a0AM to 10\u00a0PM after every 30 or 60\u00a0minutes. There is no need to print out the ticket. You can just show your ticket\u2019s QR code from your smartphone. Bus stop is located on the city side of the passenger\u2019s terminal, next to the tram stop. If you need to get to the city center or Bus station it is really convenient to use tram line 4 from Airport to the city.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tFrom Tallinn ferry terminal\u00a0it is also possible to use the train connection to Tartu. The main railway station (Balti Jaam)\u00a0is within 25 minutes walking distance from the terminal. You can buy the tickets one week in advance (<a data-url=\"https:\/\/elron.pilet.ee\/en\/\" href=\"https:\/\/elron.pilet.ee\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/elron.pilet.ee\/en\/<\/a>). We recommend choosing\u00a0the express departures that have a travel time of 2 hours. Only first class tickets\u00a0guarantee a seat.\u00a0There is no need to print out the ticket. You can just show your ticket\u2019s QR code from your smartphone.\n<\/p>\n<h3>\n\t<strong>Arriving from Tartu Airport<\/strong><br>\n<\/h3>\n<p>\n\tIf you arriving to Tartu through Tartu Airport you can take taxi to the hotel. The taxi rank is located right in front of the Tartu Airport terminal building.
