The main reason for designing a new cloud computing\u00a0framework aimed for scientific simulations is that the existing frameworks\u00a0that we have studied so far (Hadoop, Spark, Twister, etc.), do not provide full support\u00a0for iterative distributed applications and especially iterative\u00a0scientific simulations.
