{"id":17,"date":"2024-04-04T05:40:17","date_gmt":"2024-04-04T02:40:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/mater\/project\/"},"modified":"2024-04-04T05:42:50","modified_gmt":"2024-04-04T02:42:50","slug":"project","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/mater\/project\/","title":{"rendered":"Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>\n\t<span>ABOUT THE PROJECT<\/span><br>\n<\/h2>\n<p>\n\t<span><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span>MATER Innovative Training Network (ITN) of five academia and five industry partners from 7 European countries was established with the aim to train a new generation of 14 creative, entrepreneurial, innovative\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><span><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span>and ethically sensitive early-stage researchers (ESRs) in the field of female reproductive care. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span>The planed research covers the female fertility from oocyte to a birth of a healthy baby. Research aim of the project is to contribute solving some of the most pressing challenges in female reproductive care and their ethical dilemmas, by targeting the delicate issues like infertility and pregnancy complications, and devising novel ideas to treat them, avoid miscarriages and implement genetic technologies in prenatal diagnostics. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span>Innovation aims of the project are helping students to recognize and understand the ethical issues of their work, as well to prepare them for converting the novel knowledge and ideas into social and economic benefits.
