Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Language for Academic Purposes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Language for Specific Purposes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Language Teaching, Assessment and Testing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Learner corpus-based SLA studies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Corpora as pedagogical resources<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Multimodal learner corpora<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Software for learner corpus analysis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Corpus-based translation studies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>English as a Lingua Franca (ELF)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Data mining and other explorative approaches to learner corpora<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Statistical methods in learner corpus studies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Discourse analysis and pragmatics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Studies related to lexis: semantics, metaphor, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NLP approaches<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complexity, accuracy and\/or fluency (CAF) analysis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>There will be four different categories of presentation: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Full paper (20 minutes + 10 minutes for discussion)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work in Progress (WiP) report (10 minutes + 5 minutes for discussion)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Corpus\/software demonstration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Poster<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The WiP reports and posters are intended to present research still at a preliminary stage and on which researchers would like to get feedback.
