\n\tIn the course section you can add explanations, links to study materials, Moodle resources and activities. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe course section (in the middle) consists of sections (topics or weeks). The structure depends mainly on the course format as set up in the course settings. To change course format, click in the menu on the left Administration \u2013 Edit settings.<\/i> You can choose between four formats \u2013 Weekly (course is organised week by week), Topics (course is organised into topics), Collapsed topics (sections can be opened and closed, simultaneously one or more sections can be shown) and Flexible sections (possible to create subsections, each section can be shown as open or closed). <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\tNB! You can add sections to the course using the link + Add topics<\/i> at the bottom of the page. A section can be deleted from the link Edit <\/i>at the top right \u2013 Delete topic <\/i>or Delete week.<\/i> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span>

\n\tIf you have chosen the Weekly format, select the course start date \u2013 the weeks will be counted from this date. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tNow you can start to design each topic or week: <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

  • \n\t\tadd title \u2013 click the pencil icon and save with Enter <\/i>on the keyboard <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n
  • \n\t\tmove the section up or down in relation to other sections \u2013 with the four-arrow move icon <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n
  • \n\t\tadd a description of the section or instructions \u2013 click Edit \u2013 Edit topic <\/i>or Edit week<\/i> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n
  • \n\t\tadd resources and activities \u2013 click Add resource or activity <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • \n\t\tHighlight \u2013 <\/span><\/span><\/i>(available in Topics format) highlights the topic to make it stand out. This can be used to highlight a current topic or current period <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n
    • \n\t\tHide topic (week) \u2013 <\/span><\/span><\/i>the section can be hidden from the learners <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n
