{"id":182,"date":"2024-04-04T02:50:43","date_gmt":"2024-04-03T23:50:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/juhendid\/interactive-content\/"},"modified":"2024-04-10T19:47:25","modified_gmt":"2024-04-10T16:47:25","slug":"interactive-content","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/juhendid\/interactive-content\/?lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Interactive content"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 7.5pt\">\n\t<span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"color:#565656\">The H5P plugin (see <\/span><\/span><a data-url=\"https:\/\/h5p.org\/\" href=\"https:\/\/h5p.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"color:#428bca\">https:\/\/h5p.org\/<\/span><\/span><\/a><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"color:#565656\">) is integrated in Moodle and enables the teacher to create various interactive exercises or upload other interactive content files to the e-course, using the <em>Interactive content<\/em> activity. <\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top:0cm;margin-right:0cm;margin-bottom:7.5pt;margin-left:0cm\">\n\t<span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"color:#565656\">For all types of interactive content created in your course, a grade column appears in the gradebook. However, only some types can be assessed (result is sent to the gradebook). <\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><strong>Course presentation<\/strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\"> (can be assessed) enables to create an interactive slide presentation of text, audio and video files, images and interactive exercises. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><strong>Image Slider<\/strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\"> is a presentation consisting of at least two uploaded images. Add a caption to each image, and an alternative text (if the picture cannot be displayed for some reason). It is also possible to add hover text that is displayed as the learner moves the cursor to the image. Images at least 1000 px in width are recommended. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><strong>Timeline<\/strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\"> allows you to place a sequence of events by date or eras in a chronological order. For each event you may add texts, images and content from Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, Vimeo, Google Maps and SoundCloud.\u00a0 Eras are displayed on the timeline as colour blocks with the headline. The era body text is not displayed to the learner. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><strong>iFrame<\/strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\"> allows embedding other webpages to a Moodle page, book, descriptions of Moodle activities or resources, or front page. Enter the name of the webpage, web address and parameters for the window size. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><strong>Chart<\/strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\"> enables to create a pie chart or a bar chart to present data. You have to add a label and (numerical) value, and set the font and background colour for each data element. Regardless of the number of elements, the chart is displayed across the full width of the window. It is not possible to add a legend or axis labels. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><strong>Accordion<\/strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\"> enables to present a reduced text which can be expanded by clicking the title. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><strong>Memory Game<\/strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\"> (can be assessed) allows you to create a game in which learners have to find matching image pairs. If there are more than two pairs, it is possible to set a smaller number of pairs that are randomly presented to the learner. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><strong>Collage<\/strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\"> allows users to set up multiple photos in a custom layout. It is better to use larger images because the collage is always the same in width as the browser window. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><strong>Column<\/strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\"> (can be assessed) enables to create a page which contains H5P content elements \u2013 text, interactive video or presentation and exercises \u2013 in a column layout. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><strong>Dialog Cards<\/strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\"> can be used for creating cards with text on both sides. In addition, a picture can be added to both sides, and an audio file can be added to the front side of the card. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><strong>Documentation Tool<\/strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\"> allows authors to create a content page and link pages to which it is possible to add text, text boxes. The content of these boxes can be graded using a 3-point scale, and finally, gather all content on one page and export it as a .doc file. In the exported file, the text is shown according to the ratings, starting from the highest. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><strong>Drag and Drop<\/strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\"> (can be assessed) enables the learner to associate two or more elements by dragging and dropping the correct text or image to certain places on the background image. The steps for creating this exercise are: <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type:circle\">\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\">Add a background image and set its size (on the <i>Settings <\/i>page). <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\">Add dropzones where the learner has to drag and drop the text (on the <i>Task <\/i>page). Move the dropzones to the intended places on the background image. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\">Add the draggable texts or pictures (on the <i>Task<\/i> page). In the text\/image settings, all the added texts\/images must be selected (checkboxes ticked at all texts\/images). <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\">After adding the draggable elements, tick the box of the correct text\/image in the settings of each dropzone. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\">General settings are set on the <i>Behavioural<\/i> page. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><strong>Drag the Words<\/strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\"> (can be assessed) is an interactive task in which given words must be dragged to correct blanks. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type:circle\">\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\">When you create the exercise, enter the full text, adding asterisks (*) before and after the words in the blanks. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\">In addition to the correct answer, only one for each blank, you can add a tip or feedback to correct and incorrect answers between asterisks. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\">A colon is used in front of a tip. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\">The feedback for correct answer is added by using + feedback text, and for incorrect answer \u2013 feedback text. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\t\t<span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"color:#565656\">For example: The capital city of Estonia is *Tallinn:Received city rights in 1248.* and the capital of Latvia is *Riga:Lies at the mouth of the Daugava river.+Correct, Riga is the largest city in the Baltic states.-Incorrect, try again*.<\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/p><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 7.5pt 36pt\">\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><strong>Fill in the Blanks<\/strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\"> (can be assessed) is an interactive exercise in which the learner need to write the correct answers in the blanks. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\">Enter the words that the learner should insert in blanks between asterisks (*). <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\">If several correct answers are allowed for a blank, separate them by a slash (\/). <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\">You may add a hint for each blank and separate it from the answer by a colon (:). <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\t\t<span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"color:#565656\">Example: The capital city of Estonia is *Tallinn* and the capital city of Latvia is *Riga:the largest city in the Baltic states*. Both are very *beautiful\/nice\/attractive* cities. <\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/p><\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><strong>Find the Hotspot<\/strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\"> (can be assessed) is an interactive task where clickable hotspots are marked on the background image. More than one hotspots may be defined as correct, but the learner has performed the task positively after clicking the first one. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><strong>Guess the Answer<\/strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\"> is an interactive task based on an image or a video. The learner must guess the answer and press a button below the image or video to check whether the answer was correct.<\/span> \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><strong>Interactive Video<\/strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\"> (can be assessed) enables to add various texts, images, tables and interactive tasks to an uploaded or YouTube video. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><strong>Mark the Words<\/strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\"> (can be assessed) is an interactive task in which the learner needs to click the correct words in a sentence or paragraph. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><strong>Personality Quiz<\/strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\"> is a series of questions with alternatives, where its passing and result depend on learner\u2019s answers. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><strong>Multiple Choice<\/strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\"> (can be assessed) is an interactive task, where the learner needs to choose the correct answer(s) in the multiple choice (more than one or all answers may be correct). <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><strong>Quiz<\/strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\"> (can be assessed) is a set of interactive tasks, where you can add six types of different exercises: Multiple Choice (with one or more correct answers), Drag and Drop, Cloze, Mark the Words, Drag the Words, True\/False question. It is possible to determine the number of tasks from the full set that are presented to the learner to be answered. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><strong>Find Multiple Hotspots<\/strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\"> (can be assessed) is an interactive, image-based task, in which a question is asked about the image and hotspots on the image and the number of correct answers are defined. On the image the author may also mark \u201cincorrect\u201d areas in which feedback is given to the learner. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><strong>Single Choice Set<\/strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\"> (can be assessed) is a set of single-choice questions. Each question has only one correct alternative, which has to be entered first when creating the task. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><strong>Summary<\/strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\"> (can be assessed) is an interactive task in which the learner needs to click the correct statement or summary. When you create the task, enter the correct statement first. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><strong>True\/False Question<\/strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\"> (can be assessed) enables to create questions which the learners answer using the buttons <i>True<\/i> or<i>False<\/i>. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><strong>Image Hotspots<\/strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\"> makes it possible to create an image with interactive hotspots. Description is shown below the image. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><strong>Image Sequencing<\/strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\"> (can be assessed) is an interactive task in which the learner needs to drag images into the correct sequence. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><strong>Flashcards<\/strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\"> (can be assessed) is an interactive task in which the question is in the form of an image or text on a card and the learner has to write the correct answer on the card. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><strong>Essay<\/strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\"> allows the learner to enter a long text. The author can define a set of required keywords on which basis feedback is given. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><strong>Image Pairing<\/strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\"> (can be assessed) is an interactive task in which the learner needs to drag images on the left to match them with the corresponding images on the right. All the images should be of the same size, at least 120 x 120 px. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><strong>Greeting Card<\/strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\",serif\"> is a tool for creating a simple card. Upload an image and enter the text.
