  1. \n\t\t\t\t\t\tProctorio-supervised tests can be taken in the testing environment <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>https:\/\/testid.ut.ee<\/a>. The testing environment can be accessed with the university\u2019s computer network username and password<\/b> (NOT OpenID like Moodle). After the first access to the environment, you can also enter using an ID card<\/b> or Smart-ID<\/b> or, if you have added your phone number to the profile information, also the Mobile-ID<\/b>. To register to the course of the test, you need to use the link and access key provided by the lecturer. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n
  2. \n\t\t\t\t\t\tIt is recommended to use Microsoft Edge<\/b> or Google Chrome<\/b> to take a test with Proctorio. Install the Proctorio extension<\/b><\/span><\/span> (<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Chrome<\/a>, <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Edge<\/a>) <\/span><\/span>in the browser.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n

  4. \n\t\t\t\t\t\tIf requested, give your informed consent<\/span><\/strong> for processing your personal data related to the test attempt. If you do not want to take a test with Proctorio in your personal computer, the university must offer you the opportunity to take the test with Proctorio using a university\u2019s computer<\/b>. Inform the lecturer of that as early as possible.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n

    Proctorio<\/span><\/span><\/span> (<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>    https:\/\/proctorio.com<\/span><\/span><\/a>) is a monitoring system for electronic tests that helps to identify possible violations by test takers, i.e. academic fraud. During the test, the test taker is not monitored in real time, but a webcam, microphone and screen recorder are used to record a video of the test taker and what is happening on the computer screen.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\tIt is recommended to use Microsoft Edge<\/b> or Google Chrome<\/b> to take a test with Proctorio. Install the Proctorio extension<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span> (<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Chrome<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a>, <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Edge<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a>) <\/span><\/span><\/span>in the browser. Proctorio is also compatible with Opera and Brave (used with<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>Proctorio Chrome extension<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a>). <\/span><\/span><\/span>The extension needs to be installed once and is automatically updated. <\/b>After taking a sample test or a real test with Proctorio, it is recommended to disable<\/b> the Proctorio e<\/span><\/span><\/span>xtension in the Extensions section of browser settings or to uninstall Proctorio if you know that you no longer need it.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\tTaking a test<\/span><\/span><\/span> with Proctorio requires equipment and internet connection that meet certain specific requirements: <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>https:\/\/proctorio.com\/system-requirements<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\tTo take a test, the<\/span><\/span><\/span> you must use the Proctorio extension to give access to your computer and allow the webcam image, microphone sound and computer screen to be recorded. Just before starting the test, you will need to <\/b>confirm agreeing to the recording.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\tThe data stored during the test attempt will move in encrypted form to the server of Proctorio\u2019s service provider located in the European Union and will be<\/span><\/span><\/span> automatically deleted after one month<\/b>. A contract approved by the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate has been concluded with the service provider and the collected data will be processed under the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (GDPR).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\tEntering the testing environment<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    \n<\/h2>\n

    \n\tThe<\/span><\/span><\/span> testing environment can be accessed with the university\u2019s computer network username and password (NOT OpenID like Moodle). If you have entered the testing environment with your user account and your personal identification code imported from the university\u2019s central register is available in the database, you can later enter the environment with an ID card or Smart-ID. If you have added your mobile phone number to your profile <\/i>(in the Optional section), you can also enter with Mobile-ID.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\tAs the testing environment is not integrated with the SIS, the test takers will not be added to the necessary course in the testing environment via the SIS, but the lecturer will send all test takers a self-registration link with the key allowing self-registration.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\t\t1. Place of taking the test and prohibited materials<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    \n\t<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

    \n\t1.1. The test taker is free to choose the place of taking the test as long as the following conditions are met.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\t1.2. The room must have good lighting (daylight, general lighting). The light source must not be located directly behind the test taker.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\t1.3. The test taker must be alone in the room.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\t1.4. The test taker must be seated at a desk and all prohibited materials must be removed from all surrounding surfaces during the test.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\t1.5. As a general rule, the following materials are prohibited:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\tProctorio is available in the testing environment <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>https:\/\/testid.ut.ee<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a>, which is a separate Moodle installation for admission and exam tests. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
