Blocks can be added, hidden and deleted. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"margin: 15pt 0cm 7.5pt\">\n\t<span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span><span style=\"color:#2a5188\">To add a block: <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><br>\n<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span>on the course front page go to editing mode <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span>scroll down and in the the last block on the left click <i>Add a block<\/i> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span>select a block in the drop-down menu <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:7.5pt\">\n\t<span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span><span style=\"color:#565656\">In the menu only you will see only blocks that are not in use in the course yet or if more than one can be added to the course. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:7.5pt\">\n\t<span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span><span style=\"color:#565656\">The most important blocks are: <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><i><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span>Course completion <\/span><\/span><\/i><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span>\u2013 gives a graphic overview of the materials and activities that learners have used in the course. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:7.5pt\">\n\t<\/p><div class=\"accordion mb-3\">\n        <div class=\"accordion-item accordion-item--white\">\n        <h2 class=\"accordion-header\" id=\"accordion-69e021f720c4f-heading\">\n            <button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#accordion-69e021f720c4f-collapse\" aria-expanded=\"true\" aria-controls=\"accordion-69e021f720c4f-collapse\">Setting uo Completion Progress block<\/button>\n        <\/h2>\n        <div id=\"accordion-69e021f720c4f-collapse\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"accordion-69e021f720c4f-heading\">\n            <div class=\"accordion-body\">\n\n<ol>\n<li style=\"margin-bottom: 7.5pt\">\n\t\tCheck in the course settings (Administration \u2013 Edit settings) whether completion tracking is enabled (Completion tracking \u2013 yes).\n\t<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-bottom: 7.5pt\">\n\t\tIn the resources and activity settings page, select the completion requirements for the activity (Activity completion \u2013 Completion tracking). You can determine whether an activity is completed automatically (for example, if a resource is opened) or students can manually mark the activity as completed. Depending on the activity, you can set more detailed completion criteria. Ensure that you do not set conflicting conditions. For example, if a forum post is to be graded, you should not require viewing or discussions or responses. It is not reasonable to require a completion date because the dates need to be changed for each individual event of teaching the course. When each resource or activity is set up, a checkbox appears next to the resource or activity in the front page of the course. The checkbox is marked, depending on the setting, by the learner or automatically.\n\t<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-bottom: 7.5pt\">\n\t\tAdd the Completion Progress block (Add a block \u2026). Click the cogwheel icon to open the settings page. By default, all the set activities are added to the block in the order they occur in the course. You can change the title of the block and choose only specific resources\/activities to the block.<\/li><\/ol><\/div>\n        <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\t\n\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><i><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span>Upcoming events <\/span><\/span><\/i><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span>\u2013 list of activities determined to open or close, events added to calendar. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><i><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span>HTML \u2013 <\/span><\/span><\/i><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span>enables to add text and images (e.g. information on teacher, etc.). <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><i><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span>People \u2013 <\/span><\/span><\/i><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span>names of people related to the course (teachers, learners). <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><i><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span>Calendar<\/span><\/span><\/i><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span> \u2013 the opening and closing times of tests, for example, appear there automatically. It is also possible to add events for the whole course or a group. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><i><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span>Course topics\/weeks <\/span><\/span><\/i><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span>\u2013 Links to topics or weeks in course content. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><i><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span>Courses \u2013 <\/span><\/span><\/i><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span>list of courses you have access to as a teacher or a learner. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><i><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span>Panopto \u2013 <\/span><\/span><\/i><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span>for recording video lectures and creating a folder for the course in the Panopto server, and for management of videos. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><i><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span>Logged in users \u2013 <\/span><\/span><\/i><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span>users who are currently logged in to Moodle. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color:#565656\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span><i><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span>Activities <\/span><\/span><\/i><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span>\u2013 links to study materials, forums, tests and other resources used during the course. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:7.5pt\">\n\t<span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span><span style=\"color:#565656\">In the editing mode there are buttons in the top right corner of the block: <i>arrows button <\/i>for moving the block in the front page of the course, and <i>cogwheel <\/i>for editing settings and content and for hiding or deleting the block.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Blocks are displayed in the right and left columns of the page.
