If the syllabus is linked to the Moodle course, you can export course materials from SIS under \u201cManage Moodle links\u201d by clicking the button \u201cExport study materials to Moodle\u201d.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tIn order to export study materials from SIS to Moodle course you have to:\n<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<p class=\"p1\">\n\t\t\tSet up the syllabus for the respective subject in SIS as <strong>partially\u00a0<\/strong>or<strong> entirely web-based<\/strong>:\n\t\t<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\topen syllabus and click on the button <em>Change course data<\/em>\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tfrom web-based learning drop down list choose <em>partially<\/em> or <em>entirely web-based<\/em><br>\u00a0\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tIf the subject had not previously in Moodle, create blank Moodle course:\u00a0\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tclick the link\u00a0<em>Manage Moodle links<\/em><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>at the syllabus in SIS\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t\t\tin the opening window, click on the button <em>Create a new Moodle course<\/em><br>\u00a0\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tBe sure that SIS syllabus is linked with Moodle course where you want to export the study materials. If needed click at the subject syllabus in SIS on the link\u00a0<em>Manage Moodle links<\/em>\u00a0and in the opening window click on the button <em><strong>Link to the existing Moodle course<\/strong><\/em>. Further, you need to enter\u00a0an short name<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>of the wished Moodle course into the textbox.\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"523\" height=\"121\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-828\" src=\"https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/177\/link.png\" title=\"link.png\" alt=\"link.png\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/177\/link.png 523w, https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/177\/link-300x69.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 523px) 100vw, 523px\"><br>\u00a0\n\t<\/p><\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tYou can export course materials from SIS to Moodle course under <em>Manage Moodle links<\/em> by clicking the button<strong><em> Export study materials to Moodle<\/em><\/strong>.\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"754\" height=\"157\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-829\" src=\"https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/177\/export.png\" title=\"export.png\" alt=\"export.png\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/177\/export.png 754w, https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/177\/export-300x62.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 754px) 100vw, 754px\"><br>\u00a0\n\t<\/p><\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tYou can export study materials of the same subject to different Moodle courses (for example regular studies and block mode study course).<br>\u00a0\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<strong>Audio\/video files and web links of study materials will not be exported automatically<\/strong> into the Moodle course.\u00a0\u00a0You have to download audio\/video files from SIS yourself.\u00a0 We suggest to add audio\/video files into UTTV or YouTube and refer to them from Moodle course (URL tool). You have to add web links of study materials into Moodle course yourself.\u00a0<br>\u00a0\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tYou will get the notification about the number of transferred files. Files will be transferred in Moodle course into the <strong>Legacy course files<\/strong> area (folder OIS) with the same sub-folders structure as in SIS.\u00a0\n<h5>\n\t\t\tNB! If the files number is high, transferring may take time. You can close the window and later check the status of transferred files in Moodle course.\u00a0<br>\n\t\t<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"p1\">\n\t\t\tIf you have already transferred the SIS study materials into Moodle course once, then the existing files with the same file names will not be overwritten by clicking on the export button in SIS.\n\t\t<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\n\t\t\t\u00a0\n\t\t<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>\n\tMaking Moodle course study materials available for students<br>\n<\/h4>\n<h5>\n\tNB! Exporting study materials to the Moodle course does not guarantee their availability to learners.
