The WG activities are subordinated to the INQUA Commission on Terrestrial Processes, Deposits and History (<a href=\"http:\/\/terpro.dri.edu\/\"><strong>TERPRO<\/strong><\/a>). INQUA Peribaltic WG started\u00a0in early 1990-s and comprises geologists, geographers, botanists, ecologists and other natural scientists interested in Quaternary geology, palaeoecology and\u2013climatology. Annual conferences and field trips of the WG usually bring together 40-60 participants from\u00a0countries around the Baltic Sea, occasionally also from\u00a0USA,\u00a0Canada,\u00a0Norway,\u00a0Switzerland,\u00a0UK, The Netherlands.<\/p>\n<p>The latest activities of the PWG are reported in the INQUA newsletter (<a href=\"https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/112\/QP39_PWG-in-Germany_2025.pdf\">Issue 39, December 2025<\/a>).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>INQUA Peribaltic Working Group (WG) is an informal regional group of researchers active in different fields of Quaternary science.
