\n\tThe seminar in Tartu,\u00a0entitled \u2013\u00a0\u201cDesigning and delivering courses in an online and blended environment: tools, methods, processes and challenges\u201d<\/strong> , took place between October 22-23, 2019.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe main aim of the seminar was\u00a0to provide participants with the tips and cases of effective implementation of instructional design in an online and blended environment. The seminar adapted\u00a0a hands-on and practical approach in arranging the program and rely on the lecturers\u2019 submitted case studies. Before the start of the seminar, all participants were required to fill in the pre-seminar form, which could be found via the following link.<\/a>\u00a0and prepare pre-seminar task.<\/a>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe seminar program<\/a> was organized around a pitch session, where lecturers present their courses and later proceed into a small \u201chackathon\/brainstorming session\u201d, where pitches were grouped together on the basis of similarity.\u00a0Organizers of the seminar provided the\u00a0participants with a framework for brainstorming and potential hints\/solutions, which have been\u00a0pre-made before the start of the seminar and served\u00a0as a basis for brainstorming discussion. After brainstorming was\u00a0over, each group presented\u00a0their solution to the rest of the participants, and received a follow-up advice from the \u201cpanel\u201d of educational technologists\/designers represented by the Nordplus partners.\u00a0At the end of the seminar, participants were\u00a0given the possibility to provide feedback or raise some aspects that haven\u2019t been addressed during the seminar in an open mic session.\u00a0 Self-reflective forms were\u00a0also given out at the end of the seminar, to give the participants a chance to reflect on the experience.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
