INTERNATIONAL COGNITIVE LINGUISTICS CONFERENCE 10-14 July 2017 Tartu, Estonia

Information for presenters

Following the tradition of the two previous ICLCs, the length of the presentation is 20 minutes in total (this time includes the paper presentation as well as questions). This 20-minute slot will be followed by 5 minutes for room changes. Authors should plan their presentations so that the material covered can reasonably be conveyed in a 15-18 minute time window. Presenters are free to divide up the 20 minutes as they see fit:  for example, a 15-minute talk plus 5 minutes for questions, a 12-minute talk plus 8 minutes for questions, or an 18-minute talk plus 2 minutes for questions.

The session chair will flash a 5-minute warning 10 minutes into the talks, a 1-minute warning after 14 minutes, and a STOP warning at the 15-minute mark. After 20 minutes, presenters will have to stop so that audience members can change rooms, if need be, and the next presenter can set up.

We will have at least one volunteer from our organising team in each of the rooms to help with the computer console and any other practical matters that may arise.
