A systematic effort and more empirical studies are needed in order to show how the affordances of all these systems can be used in instructional and learning processes.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tTo respond the increasing demands of exploiting VR, AR, MR, and XR in education, the Track on Augmented Reality and Virtual Worlds in Education and Training (ARVWET) invites researchers and practitioners to submit original research work in the following topics:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\tVR, AR, MR, and XR pedagogy and learning design\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tAR, MR, and XR infrastructures for education and training\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tVirtual Worlds learning infrastructures\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tSocio-cultural perspectives and implications of education in Virtual Worlds\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tVirtual Worlds for collaborative and socio-constructivist learning and training\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tVirtual environments on certain learning domains\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tVirtual labs and simulations for science learning\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tVirtual World integrated MOOCs\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tVR, AR and MR in informal learning\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tVR, AR, and MR in special needs education\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tVR, AR, and MR and serious games for teaching and learning\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tCross Reality environments for learning\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Track Program Chairs Tassos A.
