10. humanitaarteaduste magistrikooli (HUMA) s\u00fcgiskool toimub 27.\u201328. novembril 2025 Tartu \u00dclikooli Raamatukogus. Konverents toimub eesti ja inglise keeles. <\/strong><\/p>\n

S\u00fcgiskooli eesm\u00e4rgiks on anda humanitaarvaldkonna magistrantidele v\u00f5imalus pidada populaarteaduslik ettekanne oma magistrit\u00f6\u00f6 teemal ja saada tagasisidet erinevate erialade \u00f5ppej\u00f5ududelt ja \u00fcli\u00f5pilastelt. Ettekandega on oodatud osalema eesk\u00e4tt 2. aasta magistrandid, kuid 1. aasta magistrandid on kutsutud koostama posterettekande.<\/p>\n

Ettekandeks on aega 15 minutit, millele j\u00e4rgneb 15 minutit diskussiooni.<\/p>\n

S\u00fcgiskooli ettekanne ei ole m\u00f5eldud niiv\u00f5rd erialaspetsialistidele, kuiv\u00f5rd laiemale, interdistsiplinaarsele kuulajaskonnale. Oskus oma eriala populariseerida on t\u00e4nases akadeemilises maailmas v\u00e4ga oluline. S\u00fcgiskooli ettekannet ette valmistades tuleks m\u00f5elda sellele, kuidas selgitada oma uurimisprobleemi ja erialast l\u00e4henemist teise eriala inimestele ja miks antud uurimist\u00f6\u00f6 on \u00fchiskonnale oluline.<\/p>\n

Ettekannete pealkirju ja teese (200 s\u00f5na) soovime saada 1. novembriks HUMA s\u00fcgiskooli meiliaadressile (humasygiskool@ut.ee) .\u00a0 Ettekannete slaide ootame 24. novembriks samuti HUMA s\u00fcgiskooli meiliaadressile.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dear master\u2019s students! The annual Graduate School of Humanities (HUMA) Autumn School is coming again! The 10th conference will take place on\u00a0the 27th\u201328th of November at the University of Tartu Library.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The event brings together students and lecturers throughout the humanities field. The conference will be held in both English and Estonian. The Autumn school aims to allow master\u2019s students to give a presentation about their thesis and receive\u00a0feedback from both professors and students from different faculties. The presentations will be held by 2nd-year master\u2019s students, but 1st-year students can also try out a poster presentation.<\/p>\n

Presentations should last no longer than 15 minutes and are followed by 15 minutes of discussions and feedback.<\/p>\n

The Autumn School is not intended only for specialists in a certain field, but is rather meant for an interdisciplinary audience. The ability to popularise your field of study to a wider audience is a must in today\u2019s academic world. When preparing for a presentation, you should focus on how to explain your research question(s) and how to explain them to people from another field of study.<\/p>\n

The deadline for presentation\u2019s title and a 200-word thesis is November 1st, please submit them to HUMA\u2019s email address (humasygiskool@ut.ee).\u00a0 Additionally, we expect to receive presentation slides by November 24, to the same email address.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Please send the topics or titles of your poster presentations to the HUMA Autumn School email address (humasygiskool@ut.ee) by November 1. Please send your finished posters to the same email address by November 17 at the latest.<\/strong><\/p>\n
