Varasemalt on n\u00e4idatud, et ainete omadused nanom\u00f5\u00f5tmelises ruumis erinevad oluliselt ainete makroskoopilistest omadustest (sulamis- ja lagunemistemperatuur, difusioonikonstant, katal\u00fcsaatori aktiivsus jne).
