Uurimisgrupp on v\u00e4lja t\u00f6\u00f6tanud esimese t\u00f6\u00f6stuslikult huvitava su\u0308steemi p\u00e4ikeseenergia otseseks muundamiseks keemiliseks energiaks. Sealjuures on grupi liikmed sisse seadnud uue keemialabori, mis sisaldab membraanide valmistamise s\u00fcsteemi ja anal\u00fc\u00fcsivahendeid. Projekti raames on plaanis biomeetiline l\u00e4henemine ja uute materjalide rakendamine vee fotoelektrokeemiliseks lagundamiseks.<\/p>\n<p>Biomimeetiline l\u00e4henemine p\u00f5hineb hiljuti h\u00fcdrofoobsest liimist (pol\u00fcuretaan), ioonjuhtivatest pol\u00fcmeeridest (Aquivion\u00ae v\u00f5i Nafion\u00ae) ja pooljuht monoteradest valmistatud komposiitmembraanidel avastatud efektil, nimelt v\u00f5imaldavad sellised komposiitmembraanid ioonjuhtivate kanalite astmelist avanemist. See imiteerib ioonkanaleid t\u00fclakoidi membraanides. Lisaks rakendatakse membraanides erinevate poojuhtmaterjalide monoterapulbreid.<\/p>\n<p>Uurimisgrupi juhil on kahek\u00fcmneaastane kogemus fotoelektrokeemia, p\u00e4ikesepatareide ja k\u00fctuseelementide uuringute ning materjaliteaduse vallas. Lisaks on grupis \u00fcks teadur ja neli doktoranti, keda abistavad ka magistrandid. Tallinna Tehnika\u00fclikooli Materjaliteaduse instituudis ja crystalsol O\u00dcs on uurimisgrupi kasutada monoterapulbrite kasvatuse ja j\u00e4relt\u00f6\u00f6tluste s\u00fcsteemid (keemilised, termo- ja plasmat\u00f6\u00f6tlused) ning monoterakiht seadiste valmistamise s\u00fcsteemid.
