On this guided hike, you\u2019ll wander along quiet trails, breathing in the crisp air and soaking in the beauty of one of Estonia\u2019s most enchanting natural treasures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The journey begins in Tartu, with a bus ride to the bog. The hike itself will last around 2 hours (4\u20135 km), depending on the pace of the group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Afterwards, the forest becomes our dining hall. A campfire crackles, and a wilderness chef prepares a meal inspired by the season:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Grilled duck breast with orange sauce<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wok-fried vegetables with feta tabbouleh<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cranberry mousse with wild berries<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coffee &amp; flavored water<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Practical note<\/strong>: the trail may be wet or muddy \u2014 waterproof shoes or rubber boots are essential. The first stop is a visit to <strong>Old Observatory<\/strong> on Toome Hill in Tartu. The Old Observatory is the historical starting point of astronomy in Estonia and now serves as a museum. After the guided tour in Old Observatory we will head to the <strong>Estonian Space Centre<\/strong>, Estonia\u2019s leading center for astronomy and space science, located in the picturesque village of T\u00f5ravere.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the guided tour, you\u2019ll get an exclusive look into the observatory\u2019s rich history, scientific research, and powerful telescopes.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the excursion in T\u00f5ravere, we will enjoy light snacks from local food and a relaxed atmosphere \u2014 a perfect chance to reflect on the experience and ask any questions you may have.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Participation fee<\/strong>: 40\u20ac.
