He studied Finnish language and literature at Tallinn University and at the University of Helsinki. From 1996\u20132001, Ehasalu worked as a lecturer of Finnish literature at Tallinn University. He also studied business in Finland and worked as a communication manager at Viru hotel. From 2018, he has been the communication manager of the Estonian Theatre for Young Audiences in Tallinn. Ehasalu has been a member of the Estonian Writers\u2019 Union from 2016.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-size:13px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">Under the name of P\u00e4rtel Ekman, he has published the entertainment novels <em>Murtud truudus<\/em> (\u2018Broken Fidelity\u2019, 2000) and <em>Unikiri<\/em> (\u2018Dream Letter\u2019, 2002), under the name of Peep Ehasalu the novel <em>Hullu munga p\u00e4evik<\/em> (\u2018Crazy Monk\u2019s Diary\u2019, 2014). He has also published the collection of short stories <em>Aeg on selline<\/em> (\u2018Time is Such\u2019) and the fairy-tale book <em>Printsid poisid<\/em> (\u2018Boys as Princes\u2019, 2013). Together with his son P\u00e4rtel, he has written the children\u2019s books <em>V\u00e4ikeste r\u00fc\u00fctlite \u00f5htujutt<\/em> (\u2018Night Story of Little Knights\u2019, 2006), <em>K\u00f5ik kanged mehed<\/em> (\u2018All the Tough Men\u2019, 2008) and <em>Ajah\u00e4daliste j\u00f5ulud<\/em> (\u2018Christmas Short of Time\u2019, 2012).<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-size:13px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">The novel published in 2018 under the name of Peep Ehasalu, <em>Roomaja. Romaan armastusest<\/em> (\u2018Crawler. A Novel about Love\u2019) is a sad and funny story about a pathetic protest action against the closure of a small-town music school. Violin teacher Mati undertakes the task to protest by crawling through whole Estonia from Haapsalu to Mustvee to attract attention and to raise money for saving the school. On his journey, the man is accompanied by his colleague, elderly piano teacher Hilja. The book was nominated for the annual literature award of the Estonian Cultural Endowment.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<em><span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-size:13px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">L.
