I 1986) is a singer and poet.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-size:13px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">She was born in P\u00e4rnu and graduated P\u00e4rnu S\u00fctevaka Gymnasium of Humanities in 2005 with high honors. In 2010, she graduated from Georg Ots Tallinn Music College and from 2010-2011, studied at Codarts University for the Arts in the Netherlands. She also has a bachelor\u2019s degree in graphic design from the Estonian Academy of Arts from 2017.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-size:13px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">Tuuli Velling has published two poetry collections: <em>T\u00e4iuslik ja turvaline<\/em> (\u2018Perfect and Safe\u2019, 2010) and <em>6 m2<\/em> (2013). Her second collection was published together with the album <em>Kuus ruutmeetrit p\u00f5randapinda<\/em> (\u2018Six Square Meters of Floor\u2019), the limited copies of which were meant for supporters of the release.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-size:13px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">In the debut collection <em>T\u00e4iuslik ja turvaline<\/em>, there is love and urban poetry, lyrical and society-critical notes, which are united by the perspective of a young and creative person. Velling\u2019s poetry is melodic and accurate in details. The humor of mild (self-) irony adds to it.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-size:13px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">Velling\u2019s poems have been translated to English and Hungarian. She is one of 27 poets whose texts are included in the Estonian volume of the new Baltics poetry anthology <em>Contemporary Estonian Poetry.
