She attended school at Tamsalu and studied anthropology at Tallinn University. She lives in Tallinn and has been a member of the Estonian Writers\u2019 Union from 2014.<\/font><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"margin-bottom:0.11in\" lang=\"et-EE\">\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-size:13px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\"><span style=\"line-height:106%\"><font style=\"14pt\">Triin Tasuja\u2019s first poetry collection <i>Provintsiluule<\/i> (\u2018Provincial Poetry\u2019, 2009) brought the 20-year-old author the Betti Alver Debut Prize, which she shared with Sandra J\u00f5geva. <\/font><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"margin-bottom:0.11in\" lang=\"et-EE\">\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-size:13px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\"><span style=\"line-height:106%\"><font style=\"14pt\">In the texts of <i>Provintsiluule<\/i>, teenager\u2019s frustration merges with romance. They express a feeling of rebellion and an internal urge for creation. The poetry collections <i>Armastust on ja armastust pole<\/i> (\u2018There\u2019s Love and There Isn\u2019t\u2019, 2011) and <i>Vastuseta kirjad<\/i> (\u2018Unanswered Letters\u2019, 2014) are also very personal.<\/font><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"margin-bottom:0.11in\" lang=\"et-EE\">\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-size:13px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\"><span style=\"line-height:106%\"><font style=\"14pt\">A characteristic feature of Tasuja\u2019s poetry is the use of the first person. Reviewers have described her poems as a lyrical autobiography. In 2020, Tasuja published the poetry collection <i>Seksistentsialism<\/i> (\u2018Sexisentialism\u2019). Despite the pain caused by romantic love, <i>Seksistentsialism<\/i> appreciates the striving for it. <\/font><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"margin-bottom:0.11in\" lang=\"en-GB\">\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-size:13px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\"><span style=\"line-height:106%\"><font style=\"14pt\"><i>L.
