She has been a freelancer and has worked as a teacher. A member of the Estonian Writers\u2019 Union from 2013.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-size:13px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">She entered literature with the play <em>Meie isa<\/em> (\u2018Our Father\u2019) which won the first prize at the playwriting competition of the Estonian Theatre Agency. The play which is based on the documentary book <em>L\u2019Adversaire<\/em> by the French writer Emmanuel Carr\u00e8re presents the children\u2019s point of view of the story of a fraudster who has killed his close relatives. In 2005, Koff won the third prize at the playwriting competition of the Estonian Theatre Agency with her play for children <em>Sabaga t\u00e4ht<\/em> (\u2018Star with a Tail\u2019). The youth play <em>Mirr<\/em> (2008) deals with estrangement and loneliness in the present-day society. <em>Keerut\u00e4di<\/em> (\u2018Swirling Aunt\u2019, 2012), a warm-hearted story for smaller readers about the children of the Pelgulinn neighbourhood in Tallinn and the eccentric aunt won the first place at the P\u00f5lvepikuraamat (\u2018Books for Knee-high Readers\u2019) competition. She has also written scripts for television and radio programmes for children and young people.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-size:13px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">Her first novel for adults, <em>Sinine m\u00e4gi<\/em> (\u2018Blue Mountain\u2019, 2017) won the second prize at the novel competition of the Estonian Writers\u2019 Union and in 2018 brought her the title of the Writer of the Year which is issued at the literature festival at Juhan Liiv Museum at Alatskivi. Through the life choices of three women characters, the novel consisting of fragments set in the initial and final decades of the 20th century views the unchangeability of the human essence. Koff was also awarded the title of the Writer of the Year for the novel <em>Kirgas uni<\/em> (\u2018Lucid Dream\u2019, 2021) which revolves around an extraordinary event \u2013 seven people fall into an odd coma of sleep. The novel where the main themes are sleep, the circumstances and essence of dreams includes numerous references to various texts, characters and motifs.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-size:13px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">Together with her husband, writer and translator <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:13px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\"><a data-url=\"https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/ewod\/k\/koff\" href=\"https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/ewod\/k\/koff\" title=\"\">Indrek Koff<\/a><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-size:13px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">, Eva Koff manages the publishing company H\u00e4rra Tee ja Proua Kohvi (\u2018Mr Tea and Mrs Coffee\u2019).<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<em><span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-size:13px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">A.
