She completed Tartu Secondary School No. 8 in 1994, studied textile art at Tartu Art School and graduated from Tartu Art College in 2003 in the speciality of computer graphics. From 2015\u20132017, she studied cultural management at the University of Tartu and obtained a master\u2019s degree with the thesis <em>M\u00e4nguasja- ja lastemuuseumid kui laste kultuurip\u00e4randi v\u00e4\u00e4rtustajad<\/em> (\u2018Toy and children\u2019s museums as carriers of cultural heritage\u2019). Since 2003, she has been working at Tartu Toy Museum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marge P\u00e4rnits made her debut with the children\u2019s book <em>N\u00e4ssu<\/em> in 2014. She has written several more books about the teddy bear N\u00e4ssu and the real live dog Mustikas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2015, Marge P\u00e4rnits published her first poetry collection <em>Varastatud kevad<\/em> (\u2018Stolen Spring\u2019). The following collections <em>Sinine v\u00e4rv on otsas<\/em> (\u2018Blue Paint Has Run Out\u2019, 2019) <em>S\u00fcda me rahu<\/em> (\u2018Calm of Our Heart\u2019, 2021) and <em>L\u00e4bip(a)istev<\/em> (\u2018Transparent and Piercing\u2019, 2025) continue the diary-like description of the world of her earlier poetry collections. P\u00e4rnits\u2019 poems are predominantly in free verse, but there are also poems with rhymed quatrains and prose poetry. The main themes of Marge P\u00e4rnits\u2019 poetry are the small wonders and joys of everyday life amidst the circulation of seasons. The hub of the author\u2019s artistic experiences is the town of Tartu, particularly the Karlova neighbourhood, her long-time residence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2023, the Theatre Bus performed P\u00e4rnits\u2019 play for children, <em>Professor Peni<\/em> (\u2018Professor Pooch\u2019).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From English, Marge P\u00e4rnits has translated poems, children\u2019s books and educative books from several spheres of life. She has been a member of the Estonian Writers\u2019 Union since 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>L. P. (Translated by I.
