She has worked in the editorial office of <em>Aktuaalne Kaamera<\/em> (\u2018Topical Camera\u2019), a news programme of Estonian Television, for the newspapers <em>L\u00e4\u00e4nlane<\/em> and <em>\u00d5petajate Leht<\/em>, as press officer the L\u00e4\u00e4nemaa County Government, later as a freelancer. She is an honorary member of the Estonian Association of Journalists and, in 2019, was awarded the Order of the White Star, class V.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pajula has published a variety of writings in the press. She is most widely known for her <em>Mammi<\/em> columns and articles that interpret the world and its events from the perspective of senior citizens, often doing so in a humorous way. The memoirs <em>Olin kuueteistk\u00fcmnene<\/em> (\u2018I Was Sixteen\u2019, 2013) and <em>Kuldne aeg<\/em> (\u2018The Golden Time\u2019, 2011) take a look at her school years in the 1960s and the years spent at <em>Aktuaalne Kaamera<\/em>, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>A.
