Toomas Haug, who compiled the collection <em>S\u00f5na<\/em> (\u2018Word\u2019, part 9, 1986) published by the journal <em>Loomingu Raamatukogu<\/em>, included several poems by Pille \u00d5nnepalu, then called Pille Sova. Under the name of Pille Sova, her poems also appeared in the journal <em>Vikerkaar<\/em> in 1992. Pille \u00d5nnepalu is a member of the Estonian Writers\u2019 Union since 2018.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-size:13px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">Her poetry collection <em>\u00d5de<\/em> (\u2018Sister\u2019, 2013) includes published and formerly unpublished poems from the late 1980s to the last day of 2012. The poetry collection is like a diary where the poet changes everyday situations into meaningful events. \u00d5nnepalu records the simple, vanishing world and moments of present-day Estonia. The form of the images, dialogues and descriptions is playful; the author and her characters are simply poetic figures, exciting characters in literary flow.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-size:13px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">In 2017, Pille \u00d5nnepalu published the novel <em>r\u00e4\u00e4kimine vaikimine nutmine: vabaduse seletamatu ilu<\/em> (\u2018speaking, silence, weeping: unexplainable beauty of freedom\u2019). The book has been written in the form of a diary where fictional and real people and events merge into a harmonious whole. The protagonist loves present-day art that she views and describes, including her daughter\u2019s paintings and other works and the processes of their making.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-size:13px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">Pille \u00d5nnepalu\u2019s brother is writer T\u00f5nu \u00d5nnepalu; her daughter is artist Pire Sova.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<em><span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-size:13px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">L.
