He studied at several schools in Tartu, including two years at the University of Tartu as a student of psychology. M\u00fcller was one of the most prominent hippies in Estonia, member of the rock groups Kontrastid, J\u00fcngrid and Suuk; from 1977 he acted as a solo artist performing mainly blues. He accompanied his songs himself on the piano and used surreal and satirical texts for lyrics.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-size:13px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">In the 1970s, M\u00fcller was a member of the opera chorus of the Vanemuine theatre and also participated in some drama productions of the Vanemuine.\u00a0 He was a member of the Estonian Writers\u2019 Union from 2007.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-size:13px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">From 2001, Aleksander M\u00fcller began to publish in print. In 2001, he published his only poetry collection <em>Vilus on jahe<\/em> (\u2018It\u2019s Cool in the Shade\u2019). From 2006, M\u00fcller also published prose. M\u00fcller\u2019 prose books contain absurd, puns, black humour and joy of life accompanied by a wistful smile. These books are <em>M\u00fclleri jutlused. Karupunne and poeese<\/em> (\u2018M\u00fcller\u2019s Sermons. Bear Plugs and Poems\u2019, 2006), <em>Sokk bordellis ja teisi karupunne<\/em> (\u2018Sock in the Brothel and other Bear Plugs\u2019, 2008) and <em>Jumal, kes oli n\u00e4inud koeri<\/em> (\u2018God, Who Had Seen Dogs\u2019, 2011). In these, the author\u2019s personal memories and crazy fantasy have joined into an organic whole.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-size:13px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\">Aleksander M\u00fcller has also penned memories about his life on the border of the Supilinn (Souptown) neighbourhood of Tartu under the title <em>Poolsupilinlane<\/em> (\u2018Half-inhabitant of Souptown\u2019) in the collection <em>Supilinn minu elus<\/em> (\u2018Souptown in My Life\u2019, 2006).<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000\"><span style=\"font-size:13px\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif\"><em>L.
