The historical thriller takes the reader to the small town of Lihula in the late 17th century. Sorcerer Aaprami who has fled from Finland and old man Thies who has been banished from Riga as a werewolf have settled in a hut that has been forsaken in the famine years. The story speaks about hatred for foreigners and love for your neighbour, and how fear, superstition and prejudices make people lose their wits.
