She has completed Tallinn Art Gymnasium. Riste Lehari\u2019s mother Krista Lehari is a jewellery designer, grandmother Kaia Lehari an associate professor emerita of the Estonian Academy of Arts whose research area is environmental aesthetics. Riste Lehari studied theology at the University of Tartu. Her bachelor\u2019s thesis defended in 2013 was on art history \u2014 <em>V\u00e4rvuss\u00fcmboolika kujunemisest varakristlikus kunstis Galla Placidia mausoleumi mosaiikide n\u00e4itel<\/em> (\u2018Formation of Colour Symbolism in the Early Christianity on the basis of the mosaics of the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia\u2019, supervised by M. Lepaj\u00f5e and K. Alttoa).\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tAfter completing her studies, Lehari worked as administrator at Tartu New Theatre for nearly six years. Thereafter, she has worked as a copywriter.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tRiste Lehari has contributed to the journals <em>V\u00e4rske R\u00f5hk<\/em> and <em>Vikerkaar<\/em>.\u00a0 In 2022, she published her first short story collection Kafe. A characteristic feature of Lehari\u2019s short stories is the nearly unnoticeable transition from the real world to the dreamworld; they contain inner monologues and fantasy.\u00a0 \u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<em>L.
