Her mother is writer <a data-url=\"https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/ewod\/k\/kaldmaa\" href=\"https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/ewod\/k\/kaldmaa\" title=\"\">K\u00e4tlin Kaldmaa<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tIn 2015 Hanneleele Kaldmaa received the First Step literary prize of the Prima Vista literary festival for her short prose piece <em>Kaarnad vaid ootavad<\/em> (\u2018The Ravens are Merely Waiting\u2019) published in the journal <em>V\u00e4rske R\u00f5hk<\/em> in 2014. In 2016, she received the annual award of <em>V\u00e4rske R\u00f5hk<\/em> for her poetry. Her debut collection <em>Oliver<\/em> (2017) which concentrates on the archetypical figure of a vagabond draws inspiration from the antiquity, Estonian heritage and literature. Under different forms of his name, firebringer Oliver O\u2019Flame and his wife Tuvi (Dove) are off on adventures along real and imaginary paths. Her second poetry collection <em>Sinustki v\u00f5ib saada fossiil<\/em> (\u2018Even You Can Become a Fossil\u2019, 2022) also makes use of folkloric subject matter, connecting it with themes of nature and myths.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tTogether with her mother K\u00e4tlin, Hanneleele Kaldmaa has written <em>Kaks armastuslugu<\/em> (\u2018Two Love Stories\u2019, 2017) published in the <em>Aja Lugu<\/em> (\u2018Story of the Times\u2019) series of the Petrone Print publishing company. The book deals with the relations between the mother and the daughter and, among other topics, takes a harshly painful glance at the Soviet childhood.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<em>A. K. (Translated by I.
