Established in 1991, EUCEN<\/strong><\/a> is the largest multidisciplinary association for University Lifelong Learning in Europe and represent this educational level in Europe through research, lobbying and activities. eucen understands University Lifelong Learning to encompass a flexible learner-centric approach which allows learners to learn at their own pace, in their own preferred space, according to their own specific needs. EUCEN\u2019s activities are focused on four categories: using technology to enhance learning, continuously developing professional talent, connecting and working with the community and developing a world where all are welcome.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The organisation of the eucen 2027 conference at the University of Tartu is supported by the Estonian Business and Innovation Agency<\/strong><\/a> (EIS) with 20 733,43 EUR from the European Union Cohesion Policy funds. An international event introduces Estonia as a world-renowned successful digital country and a leader in the use of digital technologies in education and brings to Tartu around 150 lifelong learning specialists and experts around the world to explore how digital solutions could be helpful throughout the whole cycle of lifelong learning and promote interinstitutional cooperation. As a result, institutional cooperation and interest in Estonia as a leader in the field of lifelong learning will increase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As many participants will be visiting Estonia for the first time, the cultural activities will introduce the city of Tartu through guided tours and conference gala dinner. This will help enhance the visibility of Tartu and Estonia as a leader in the field of lifelong learning and attractive destination.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
