Among them are both those who deeply study the causes of well-being and its absence, as well as those who research and develop interventions that prevent well-being issues,” said the Centre’s scientific director, Professor Andero Uusberg.

Involving the National Institute for Health Development as a partner in the Centre of Excellence for Well-Being Sciences is strategically important because the institute’s research and development activities focus on promoting health and well-being, which aligns directly with the Centre’s goals.

“The National Institute for Health Development has already had long-term cooperation with several research groups that have joined EstWell. We hope that the official partnership with the Centre will make this collaboration even smoother and allow it to expand more easily. Compared to the rest of the world, Estonian research groups are small, so sharing data, expertise, and infrastructure is extremely sensible,” said senior researcher at the National Institute for Health Development, Kenn Konstabel.

The Institute’s extensive experience in public health, behavioral, and social sciences will provide a valuable contribution to conducting interdisciplinary research. Their knowledge and networks will help advance the development of evidence-based interventions to improve the well-being of the Estonian population and reduce health inequalities.

The Centre of Excellence for Well-Being Sciences, EstWell, received a positive response from the Estonian Research Council (ETAG) regarding the addition of the National Institute for Health Development as an official consortium partner. “With the inclusion of the National Institute …

[5

post-1502","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news
["GET
