Andres Vindi (konservaator)

EST: Andres Vindi (sünd. 1971) on Ajaloo ja Arheoloogia Instituudi tehnik-konservaator. Arheoloogilistel kaevamistel on ta osalenud alates 1987. aastast, seega algamas on tema 36. valitoode periood. Tema töökohustuste hulka kuulub ka uute arheoloogiliste objektide väljaselgitamine maastikul. Esimese muistise leidis ta 1987. aasta kevadel, kuid süstemaatilisem otsimine algas 1991. aasta kevadel, mil loodi leiukogu. Tartu Ülikoolis töötab ta alates 1993. aasta kevadest.

Projektis  otsib ta leirele minejate jaoks kohti, mis tuleks üle vaadata,  juhendab tudengeid ja osaleb arheoloogilistel kaevamistel. Samuti katalogiseerib ja konserveerib valitoodel saadud leide.

ENG: Andres Vindi (born in 1971) is a technician and conservator in the Institute of History and Archaeology. He has taken part of archaeological excavations since 1987, so this year will be his 36th conducting field work. Among his work obligations is searching for new archaeological sites in the field. He found his first archaeological site in the spring of 1987; however, systematic search began in the spring of 1991 when the collection of finds (?) was established. He has been working for the University of Tartu since the spring of 1991.

In this project he searches for places to be inspected, instructs students, and assists with archaeological excavations. In addition, he catalogs and preserves finds discovered during fieldwork.
