The discussion group was led by Kristel Leif (NGO Onklooogika).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second half of the day was spent practically, discussing what is going well today and what could be better in the future, and how to implement it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCoordinated cooperation leads to faster and better results,\u201d is convinced by Mari-Leen P\u00e4rn, the head of the ESTCAN community and the main organizer of the event. \u201cToday, it is clear that early detection and treatment of cancer can save many lives. It is also important that cancer patients and their loved ones do not feel alone with a cancer diagnosis \u2013 help and support are actually available at every step. In general, there is still much to be done in Estonia to make the lives of cancer patients and their loved ones more supported, and the Cancer Control Network is working on this every day.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The next similar event is planned for the fall.
