The networks cover the following topics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>complex cancers with poor prognosis;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Palliative care;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>survival;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>personalised prevention\/secondary prevention;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>oomics technologies;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>high-tech medical resources;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>young adults with cancer.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The new expert networks will provide services to the whole European oncology community: clinical guidelines and recommendations, quality of care criteria, health and economic models, educational support, research promotion, support to patient representatives, policy lobbying support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Project duration: 2024-2028<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Project budget: \u20ac40.5 million<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Partners in Estonia: North Estonia Medical Centre, Ministry of Social Affairs, as observer ESTCAN<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ESTCAN contact person: Kadi-Liis Veiman, kadi-liis.veiman@ut.ee<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The JANE2 (The EU Joint Action on Networks of Expertise on Cancer) project aims to develop seven networks of experts to improve cancer diagnosis and treatment across Europe.
