The course consists of reading, video lectures, exercises, case studies and tests.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #696969;\"><span style=\"background: white;\"><span style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"background: lime;\"><span style=\"background-color: #ffffff;\">Course materials contain\u00a0\u2018Reading suggestions\u2019. These materials are not obligatory for passing the course but intended for futher reading in case of interest.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #696969;\"><span style=\"background: white;\"><span style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"background: lime;\"><span style=\"background-color: #ffffff;\">Now and then you will also come across \u2018Thinking exercises\u2019. These exercises are not graded. The aim of these tasks is to point out what material is to assist you in putting the material in the context of your country or practice and provides hints what materials you should search in your country about the topic.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #696969;\"><span style=\"background: white;\"><span style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"background: lime;\"><span style=\"background-color: #ffffff;\">You will also find \u2018Tips for Auditor\u2019, which usually follow an explanation of some concept. The aim of these tips is to connect new information with audit practice and give suggestions how to use it while planning an audit.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Each module ends with an exercise, which enables to test the acquired knowledge and skills. The exercises are an intrinsic component of the course and it is strongly recommended to take all of them.<\/p>\n<h3>Exercises<\/h3>\n<p>Throughout the course there are numerous self-test exercises for enabling the student to test his\/her knowledge and skills in specific topics. Each exercise is graded as a percentage (100% corresponding to correctly answering all questions and correctly solving all problems). Explanatory feedback is displayed when wrong answer is selected.<\/p>\n<p>Feedback is given as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"37\" height=\"31\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-82\" title=\"right.png\" src=\"https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/145\/right.png\" alt=\"right.png\">\u00a0Correct answer, correctly recognised and marked by the student.<\/li>\n<li><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"32\" height=\"30\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-83\" title=\"marked.png\" src=\"https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/145\/marked.png\" alt=\"marked.png\">\u00a0Correct answer, not recognised and not marked by the student.<\/li>\n<li><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"33\" height=\"32\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-84\" title=\"wrong.png\" src=\"https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/145\/wrong.png\" alt=\"wrong.png\">\u00a0Incorrect answer, however, considered correct by the student.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All exercises can be taken as many times as needed and the success of taking these exercises will not influence the final grade. We recommend that you complete all the exercises and work with them until you achieve score 100% and only then move to next topic.<\/p>\n<h3>Terminology and definitions<\/h3>\n<p>Wherever possible, the used terminology adheres to INTOSAI WGEA practices.<\/p>\n<h3>Printed version of course materials<\/h3>\n<p>For those wishing to save course materials for offline browsing or later use, print-to-pdf solution is the best option, to be applied separately for each individual page.
