It was structured as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Teacher\u2019s introduction to AI in Academic Research<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Overview of AI\u2019s capabilities and limitations in academic writing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Discussion on ethical considerations and academic integrity, and university guidelines (what is recommended, allowed, prohibited)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Hands-on Exercises with AI<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Formulating Research Questions <\/strong>\u2013 Ensuring appropriate scope for bachelor\u2019s thesis and refining focus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Clarifying the Phenomenon Under Study <\/strong>\u2013 Exploring key concepts through dialogue.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Structuring the Theoretical Framework<\/strong> \u2013 Identifying essential questions\/themes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Developing an Analysis Plan<\/strong> \u2013 Operationalizing variables, selecting data sources, and structuring the analysis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Guided Discussions<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students shared their AI prompts and outputs with peers and the teacher. The group evaluated the relevance and reliability of AI-generated suggestions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Student Reflections<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The workshop concluded with a discussion on the pros and cons of using AI as an assistant in thesis writing.
