Akantoodid surid v\u00e4lja\u00a0<\/font><\/font><a data-url=\"https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/eluarengmaal\/karbon\" href=\"https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/eluarengmaal\/karbon\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Karbonis<\/a><font face=\"Arial\"><font style=\"medium;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;letter-spacing:normal;text-align:start;text-indent:0px;text-transform:none\">.<br>Paleosoikumi arenenumate luukalade hulka kuuluvad\u00a0<b>paleoniskoidid<\/b>\u00a0olid v\u00e4ga liikuvad ja nad kasvasid kuni 30 cm pikkuseks (foto 1).<br>Devoni ja Karboni ajastul olid v\u00e4ga tavalised kopskalad (joonis 1), kes praeguseks on suures osas v\u00e4ljasurnud.\u00a0<b>Kopskalade<\/b>\u00a0pikkus ei \u00fcletanud enamasti 30 cm.<br><b>Vihtuimsed<\/b>\u00a0kalad (joonis 2) on valdavalt v\u00e4ljasurnud, nende ainsaks esindajaks t\u00e4nap\u00e4eval on perekond\u00a0<i>Latimeria<\/i>.
