Spordis on laialt on levinud eeldus, et v\u00f5idu ja kaotuse otsustab sportlase eneseusk. Ka paljudes teistes valdkondades usutakse, et eneseusk m\u00e4ngib suurt rolli nii uute oskuste omandamisel kui hiljem nende realiseerimisel. T\u00f5epoolest, inimestena oleme pidevas muutumises ja \u00fcks imeline v\u00f5ime, mis aitab meil endaga toimuvaid muutusi juhtida, on v\u00f5ime tajuda ja hinnata iseenda v\u00f5imekust. T\u00e4psemalt, eneset\u00f5husus on usk oma v\u00f5imekusse sellisel moel tegutseda, et suudetakse enda teatav eesm\u00e4rk saavutada. Eneset\u00f5husus ei peegelda mitte tegelikke v\u00f5imeid, vaid just isiku <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: baseline;\">enda subjektiivset uskumust <\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: baseline;\">selle kohta, milleks ta v\u00f5imeline on. Eneset\u00f5hususe m\u00f5iste tekitab eesti keeles palju segadust, kuna sageli j\u00e4\u00e4b siiski ekslik mulje, et eneset\u00f5husus iseloomustab seda, kui tubli v\u00f5i \u201ct\u00f5hus\u201d inimene objektiivselt on. Kuna on oluline m\u00f5ista, et eneset\u00f5husus peegeldab ikkagi just enda subjektiivset uskumust, mitte m\u00f5\u00f5detud objektiivset suutlikkust, siis on m\u00f5istlikum kasutada eneset\u00f5hususe t\u00e4histamiseks ka uskumusele viitavat m\u00f5istet. Eneset\u00f5husus on <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: baseline;\">eneseusk \u2013<\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: baseline;\"> seega kasutame suup\u00e4rasuse huvides siitpeale just seda m\u00f5istet. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: baseline;\">Enesekindlus <\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: baseline;\">kitsamas m\u00f5ttes t\u00e4hendab <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: baseline;\">k\u00f5rget eneseusku<\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: baseline;\">.<\/span><\/div>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"margin-top: 10pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.56;\"><span style=\"color: #353744;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: baseline;\">Oluline on ka m\u00f5ista, et eneseusk on pigem <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #353744;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: baseline;\">kitsas ja spetsiifiline<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #353744;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: baseline;\"> \u2013 meie usk oma suutlikusse puudutab alati kitsalt mingit konkreetset tegevust. N\u00e4iteks v\u00f5ib kellelgi olla tugev usk sellesse, et ta suudab \u00fcle v\u00e4ikese j\u00e4rve ujuda rinnuli (ehk \u201ckonna\u201d), samal ajal ei pruugi ta uskuda, et suudaks sama teha liblikujumise stiilis. Sel juhul saame \u00f6elda, et tal on n\u00e4iteks k\u00f5rge rinnuliujumise eneseusk looduslikus veekogus l\u00f5bu p\u00e4rast ujumisel (samas madal liblikujumise eneseusk). Ent sama isiku usk, et ta rinnuliujumise l\u00fchiraja Eesti meistriv\u00f5istlusel k\u00f5rge koha saaks, v\u00f5ib olla madal. V\u00f5i v\u00f5ib keegi uskuda, et saab jaapani keele eksamil h\u00e4sti hakkama teksti lugemise \u00fclesandega, aga mitte k\u00f5ne m\u00f5istmise \u00fclesandega. Sel juhul on tema eneseusk oma jaapani keele lugemisoskusesse k\u00f5rgem kui kuulamisoskusesse. Samal isikul v\u00f5ib aga olla k\u00f5rge eneseusk nii oma prantsuse keele lugemis- kui kuulamisoskusesse. Edaspidi nimetame <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #353744;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: baseline;\">\u00fclesandeks <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #353744;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: baseline;\">seda spetsiifilist tegevust, mille eneseusust jutt k\u00e4ib. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"margin-top: 10pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.56;\"><span style=\"color: #353744;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: baseline;\">Eneseusu m\u00f5istega seostatakse sageli <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #353744;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: baseline;\">enesehinnangut. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #353744;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: baseline;\">Siiski on need erineva t\u00e4hendusega m\u00f5isted. Enesehinnang iseloomustab seda, kui positiivse v\u00f5i negatiivse hinnangu inimene endale annab, kuiv\u00f5rd end v\u00e4\u00e4rtustab ja mil m\u00e4\u00e4ral ennast austab (Rosenberg, 1965; Sedikides &amp; Gress, 2003).
