The theme of this year’s EARLI SIGs 10, 21 and 25 conference is reflective mind and communities. We encourage colleagues to submit theoretical and empirical studies on the broad theme of reflection in education.

We are interested in learning about the different purposes of reflection, for example, reflection for improving one’s own or community’s practice, or reflection for liberating oneself or a community from its habitual ways of thinking and acting and the implications of such purposes for educational contexts. We are also curious to learn which methods can be used for supporting reflection and how different actors might be engaged in the process of reflection in diverse contexts of education.
