Majandusteaduse ja innovatsiooni doktorikool
Five days with over 40 hours of writing, short workshops, consultations, activities to help clear your mind, as well as the opportunity to discuss with others and with a facilitating consultant. The format is inclusive and collective. It will be facilitated and supported, with the focus being on writing together to increase motivation and writing productivity.
The instructor is Djuddah A.J. Leijen (PhD, Lecturer at The College of Foreign Languages and Cultures). He has experience in teaching PhD level academic writing across and within disciplines. He has formerly developed and instructed several writing retreats for different graduate and doctoral schools.
To participate in the retreat, please write a short workplan describing your activities during the retreat and submit your application by February 20, 2020.
NB! The planned writing has to be related with your PhD dissertation.

Notifications of acceptance will be sent by February 28, 2020.
NB! Members of Doctoral School in Economics and Innovation are welcome to participate. The number of participants is limited. If the number of interested people exceeds available places, the selection will be done based on the quality of workplans, approval by your home university and participation in earlier retreats. For accepted participants all costs (transfer Tartu-Pühajärve-Tartu, accommodation in single rooms, meals) will be covered by the doctoral school.
